The Regal R30L (Parcel mailbox with letterbox flap)

The R30L incorporates a purpose designed letter deposit facility enabling letters and packet post to be delivered when the parcel box is locked. The aperture is sufficiently large for Royal Mail large letters, small packets, CD's DVD's, and small padded envelopes jiffy envelopes etc.

The letterbox flap and canopy has been designed as an integral part of the mailbox -
We designed our own canopy and flap to ensure that water cannot enter your mailbox - we've
preserved the water-tight integrity renown of the Regal R30

Like our boxes, the canopy is fabricated by hand; - we machine an aluminium extrusion by hand, then machine water-jet cut end pieces and TIG weld these to the extrusion. Then this assembly is again machined, fettled, smoothed, and checked before being riveted and bolted to the mailbox. The mailbox is then polyester powder coated ensuring all parts match the box, - then it is final assembled, - we use stainless steel hinge pins, a stainless steel return spring for extended life and a rubber gasket seal provides a resilient bump stop for the flap together with weatherproofing.

The additional work involved in the canopy, aperture reinforcements and flap is the reason why the R30L costs quite a bit more than the standard R30

The R30L may be used similarly to the R30 however some customers leave their box locked all of the time to function as a standard mailbox, - they also have the added advantage of receiving parcels only when parcels are expected.
